ACDC tactical coaching

GRIST’s ACDC coaching model brings strategy to life. By changing micro-behaviours, it enables leaders to deliver tactical leadership conversations that have an immediate impact on business performance.

 While other coaching models are great for setting and working towards longer term goals, they don’t provide the tactical day-to-day steps required to achieve those longer term outcomes.

You can have a one minute or a 15-minute ACDC conversation and immediately increase the chances that your team member will do something different to change their performance and improve outcomes.

 Inspired by great Australian creations like Vegemite, Ugg Boots, black box flight recorders, Wifi, the bionic ear, Google Maps, and a certain rock and roll band who achieved worldwide fame.

ACDC is straightforward, adaptable, practical, solution-focussed and effective.

What does ACDC do?

ACDC is a five-by-five model. There are five phases, with each phase having five critical behaviours. These behaviours help team members understand how they are performing, the behaviours driving their current results and what needs to change.

By encouraging team members to immediately commit to the deliberate practice of a new micro-behaviour, you inspire real behavioural change. These micro-behaviours become the small changes (the right inputs) that lead to big impacts (the desired outputs), allowing you to achieve Excellence by degrees°.
