The Power of Calibration

Evaluating a team member’s performance is what we do all the time as coaches, but how often do you evaluate your own performance?

We all accept that assessment is a critical part of our professional development. But the ability to self-assess your own performance is one of the most critical skills for leaders, especially as you continue to grow into more senior leadership roles.

Monitoring and evaluating your own performance is crucial for ongoing improvement as a coach, and the best way to become a great self-assessor is the process of calibration. Calibration helps you understand the nuances between good and great coaching behaviours and how to use them to be a better coach and improve your teams’ performance. It helps to identify strengths and weaknesses, highlight areas for improvement, and track and monitor your outcomes.

Watch as we discuss tips on how to conduct accurate self-assessments, and identify which behaviours unlock the potential within your coaching conversations.
